A seminar regarding the marking CE held on December 5, 2011 in Athens, under relevant information campaign of the European Commission and funded by the European Union. The problem of the CE marking in practice (technical requirements documentation, conduction of technical documentation) was developed by Ms. Stamatia I. Finitsi.

Finitsi IMS attended a conference which was held by ECO Q and under the auspices of the Ministry of Development on the subject: “The Partnership between Companies and NGOs for Social and Environmental Responsibility", at Stratos Vassilikos Hotel in Athens.

The foundation of the Hellenic Network Global Compact for the CSR was announced in Greece on 28th of May, at a ceremony at the Caravel Hotel of Athens, attended by dozens of representatives of Greek business, civil society, government and the United Nations. Keynote speeches were delivered by H.E. George Alogoskoufis, Greek Minster of Economy and Finance, and by Ms. Alexia Evert, the Deputy Mayor of Athens.
During the event, the chief executives of more than 50 Greek companies presented letters of participation to Mr. Soren Petersen, Head of Local Networks and Partnerships in the Global Compact Office, expressing their commitment to make the Global Compact's ten principles part of business strategy, culture, and day-to-day operations.

Finitsi IMS attended as a member of the Hellenic Network Global Compact for the Corporate Social Responsibility.

The Money Conferences, EuroCharity and the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) organized on 28th of May 2008, at the Hilton Hotel of Athens, the second conference of CEO & CSR, with the title “Redefining the way we do business”. The particular conference was the first climatically neutral conference of the Corporate Social Responsibility, while the pioneer idea of “Cradle-to-Cradle” was presented.

The Conference completed with the awards of the CEO and CSR.

With the aim to operate in harmony with society, FINITSI IMS lends major importance to the issues of the Corporate Social Responsibility.
The company accomplishes its activities so that it ensures the protection of environment and it promotes the social responsibility.

The company is already an active member of the MOm (Company for the Study and Protection of the Mediterranean Seal), while it has been proceeding for its attendance in the HELMEPA (Hellenic Marine Environment Protect Association). Ιn the meantime, it is in its intentions and immediate plans to enter into other similar non-beneficial organizations.

FINITSI IMS participated in the 7th Maritime Conference “NAVIGATOR 2007” as an official sponsor, which took place on June 6, 2007 at the Athens Golf Club in Glyfada.

Around 300 members of the Hellenic and Global Shipping Community were present at the Conference.

The “Navigator 2007”, organized this year under the aegis of the Mercantile Marine Ministry with the cooperation of the Maritime Department of the Pireaus University, had a response and success for seventh continuous year.

Finitsi IMS is participating at the 7th Maritime Conference “NAVIGATOR 2007” as a sponsor, taking place on June 6, 2007 at the Athens Golf Club in Glyfada.
Apart from the conference’s educational character, shipping representatives from all over the world are given the opportunity in one day to discuss and anticipate to future co operations and friendships, and clientele increase.

The “NAVIGATOR 2007” conferences have been organized since 2001 under the aegis of the Mercantile Marine Ministry and in cooperation with the Maritime department of the Piraeus University.

Around 300 members of the Hellenic Shipping Community will participate at this conference.

Within the framework of activities/projects arising from the Partnership between the Association of German Chambers of Commerce & Industry (DIHK) and the Association of Balkan Chambers (ABC), the liaison office of DIHK and ABC assigned Ms Stamatia I. Finitsi to moderate seminars on EMAS, ISO 14001:2004, ISO 22000:2005, HACCP, CE Marking, and equivalent analytical case studies on July 5 and 6, at the Corfu Chamber. The seminar was considered a success.

Representatives of the shipping and industrial communities attended the poolside reception, at the Divani Apollon Palace & Spa, May 10, celebrating the recent establishment of our Company.

During the reception, Ms Stamatia I. Finitsi, soul and mastermind of Finitsi IMS, underlined the following:
